Growing up in the UK, I fondly recall watching American TV shows as a child and being enamored by the cars featured in them. They always seemed so much more impressive than the ones we had in England.

The design, aesthetic, and sheer size of American cars fascinated me. They exuded an exotic aura that captivated my imagination. Upon arriving in the States, I felt compelled to capture them through photography. While I wouldn't consider myself a 'car guy' and I don't attend car shows, I am drawn to the way these cars inhabit their environment.

The allure of old abandoned cars in fields or car junkyards also appeals to me. My aim is to capture timeless images that could belong to any era. To achieve this, I predominantly use medium format film cameras such as the Hasselblad 501CM, Fuji GA645, or whichever 35mm camera happens to be with me.
